Preparing for your Intervention
So you’ve taken the first step and you’ve scheduled your free intervention consultation. What do you do now?
Please don’t try to clean the space before I arrive.
If you’re like me, you clean, or “tidy” your house up before your cleaning service arrives so you don't appear "messy".
For an intervention to be completely successful, I need to see how you use the space in it’s current shape. This will help me understand:
There’s no judging involved in the process of assessing what your organizing needs are. We all have spaces that we feel we let go, or that just got out of hand because there’s just no time to really give it the attention it needs.
There’s no shame in admitting you need help, and no shame in admitting that you would rather spend your valuable free time with your family and friends doing what matters most to you, than hanging out in your pantry for 2+ hours.
In the days leading up to your Intervention consultation, ask yourself the following questions concerning your problem space:
1. What's working?
2. What's not working
3. What items are most essential to you?
4. Why do you want to get organized?
5. What's causing the problems?

For an intervention to be completely successful, I need to see how you use the space in it’s current shape. This will help me understand:
- How the problem started
- What you really need the space to do for you
- What are the biggest issues preventing your space from being utilized effectively.
